ZiXi Joins Mpeg Dash Promoters Group

Company Supports Newest Standard for Streaming Multimedia Content over the Internet

By becoming a member of the mpeg-Dash community, ZiXi joins a growing list of parties who are interested in leading the promotion of the latest standard for streaming multimedia content via the Internet.

ZiXi is excited to join the ‘Dash Promoters Group’ and work with other like-minded individuals and companies to promote the adoption of this new standard, said Israel Drori, CEO and founder of ZiXi. This allows users to enjoy a higher quality video viewing experience through mpeg-DASH and ZiXi than other methods.

The DASH-PG is comprised of interested parties who wish to collaborate on the promotion of MPEG’s DASH specification (ISO/IEC 23009) in the industry, as well as other standard organizations and consortia. It is not a standardization group and will not develop any specific technical output that can be used as an industry reference.
