ZiXi Appoints Stan Sands as Senior Vice President of Sales

Waltham, MA - February 14, 2011 - ZiXi, the leading enabler of broadcast quality HDTV globally over the Internet, today announced the appointment of Mr. Stan W. Sands as Senior Vice President of Sales. Mr. Sands is responsible for business and sales strategy and developing strong relationships with the fast growing set of ZiXi customers worldwide. Mr. Sands brings a wealth of experience in video convergence having worked in sales leadership positions for 20 years at Samsung and Scientific Atlanta.

Mr. Sands joins ZiXi from Samsung Electronics where he served as the Vice President of North American Business. At Samsung, he was responsible for organizing sales and field support teams focused on the North American cable industry for the set top box product line. Mr. Sands has also worked as the Vice President of Sales at Scientific Atlanta (now a subsidiary of Cisco Systems), NDS Corporation (offering conditional access for cable operators) and Micromuse, Inc. He received his BBA in Marketing at the University of Georgia and went on to attend the Executive Scholar Program at the Kellogg School of Business.
