ZiXi and PeerTV Form Strategic Alliance to Solve Video Delivery over the Internet for Content Distributors

Waltham, MA and Raanana, Israel – April 13, 2010 - ZiXi, the leading enabler of broadcast quality HDTV globally over the Internet, and PeerTV Ltd announced today that they have formed a strategic alliance to provide a turnkey end-to-end solution for narrowcasters seeking to deliver live TV channels and VOD services to target consumers over the open internet. By combining ZiXi and PeerTV’s platforms, content distributors now have the ability to deliver HD quality live video over the Internet that starts instantly and has no latency, packet loss, jitter or frame freeze.

ZiXi's platform provides a highly scalable live and VOD video global delivery system with Dynamic Adaptive Bitrate supporting up to full HD (1080p) resolution.
