Israel Drori - CEO & Founder

Israel Drori, over the past 24 years, has founded and operated numerous technology companies, which redefined markets, delivered shareholder value and have been recognized as market innovators and leaders. Since founding ZiXi in 2006, Israel has served as the Company’s CEO and is responsible for Zixi’s vision, long-term planning, market strategy and product development.
Prior to founding ZiXi, Israel served as the CEO and President of Integra5, a real-time voice, video, broadband and mobile data communications company, where he successfully re-started the company and established its sales and marketing strategies. Prior to leading Integra5, Israel founded and served as CEO to three other companies. These companies include: Legra Systems, an enterprise wireless switching systems company, MeetU, a web-based online collaboration company, which was acquired by Polycom (NASDAQ: PLCM), and NetXchange, an Internet messaging infrastructure software and applications company that Israel led to become a recognized product leader in the voice-over-IP market. Israel also served as the Vice President of Wireless Access at BreezeCOM (NASDAQ: ALVR), where he repositioned the company as a leader in the wireless Internet-access marketplace. In the early 90’s, Israel founded and led LanOptics (NASDAQ: LNOP) as Vice President of Corporate Development. He guided LanOptics through a successful IPO in the LAN Switch/Hub market two and a half years after the company's inception.
Israel holds a B.Sc. in Computer Science and Mathematics from Hebrew University in Jerusalem.
Uri Avni - CTO & Founder

Uri Avni is a scientist, inventor and pragmatic technologist. As Chief Technology Officer, Uri is responsible for pushing the boundaries in research and development of the ZiXi technology as well as the delivery of ZiXi products.
Uri brings a wealth of experience in hardware systems and software development to ZiXi, which he acquired at the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF). As Captain, Uri served as the lead developer of operative software for complex electronic warfare systems. There he also researched and implemented electronic warfare algorithms, geographical software infrastructure, and wireless communications infrastructure. In 2002, Uri served as Software Developer for Talent Solutions, a Raanana company. Uri was involved in advancing real-time IP protocol auditing systems and led a team that developed network-enabled surveillance systems as well as a high performance audio archiving and streaming system.
Uri received a B.Sc. in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering, cum laude, and a M.Sc. in Biomedical Engineering, summa cum laude, from Tel Aviv University.
Vivek Pathela – Executive Vice President, Products/Marketing/Operations

Vivek Pathela, a seasoned business leader, has 26 years of innovative technology, product marketing and line-of-business management expertise in systems networking and communications across the customer segments of consumer, small-medium business, enterprise, telecom operator and service provider. At ZiXi, Vivek is responsible for the Company's product delivery, marketing, operations and go-to-market execution.
Prior to ZiXi, Vivek served at NETGEAR from 2000 when it became privately held, went public in 2003, and grew 10x during his tenure to almost one billion dollars in net revenues for 2010. As VP & GM of NETGEAR’s Home / Consumer Products business, Vivek led NETGEAR to become the world’s #1 leader in the $2.5B home/retail networking market worldwide with revenues of half-a-billion dollars.
Previously, Vivek served at Hewlett Packard for 15 years, and held various positions in product management, marketing, systems engineering and software development in the area of systems networking for corporate enterprise, telecom and service providers at HPs Computer Systems Business headquarters in Silicon Valley as well as at HP’s Asia/Pacific regional headquarters in Singapore and Japan.
Vivek completed the executive management program at Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and received his B.Sc. degree with honors in computer science and international relations in 1985 from Tufts University in Massachusetts.
Steve Saleski – Senior Vice President, Worldwide Sales

Steve Saleski is a seasoned Sales Executive with more than 20 years of worldwide technology sales experience in video, mobile, and IP communications. At ZiXi, Steve is responsible for establishing the Company’s worldwide sales strategies, growing the business in the Americas, Europe and Asia, overseeing the sales team, and managing all customer-facing activities.
Prior to ZiXi, Steve was Vice President of Global Sales at NetSocket, an early-stage provider of enterprise VoIP and video monitoring software, where he was responsible for closing initial orders and recruiting the sales team. Previously, he was Vice President of Sales at NMS Communications, an $80M solutions provider of converged and mobile networks, where he managed the Americas and EMEA sales teams. Steve joined NMS from BBN Technologies (now Ramp), where he was Vice President of Business Development and successfully secured initial customer wins for this early stage video Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Company. Prior to BBN, Steve was Vice President of Worldwide Sales at Empirix, the leading provider of service quality assurance for new IP communications, where he grew sales from $4 to $47M.
Steve holds a B.S. degree in electrical engineering from Tufts University.
Amir Segev - Vice President, Products

Amir brings more than 15 years of video-centric experience to his current role as Vice President, Products for ZiXi, where he is responsible for the ongoing development of ZiXi's product line. He joined ZiXi from Playtech, the world’s largest publicly-traded online gaming software supplier, where he managed the company's products in several video domains. Prior to Playtech, Amir was Founder and General Manager of ArtiMedia, a company that monetized video using advanced computer vision technologies, which was sold to Artivision.
Before starting ArtiMedia, Amir was the Senior Director of Product Marketing and Business Development at BigBand, a telecommunications organization acquired by Aarris, where he managed the organization's international marketing activities and grew sales in new geographical markets including Korea & Benelux. Prior to joining BigBand, Amir spent seven years at Scopus (now Harmonic), where he held several senior level positions in Marketing, New Product Development and Business Development.
Amir is a lecturer and adviser at Logtel Computer Communications in IPTV, video applications, and "triple play" domains, holds an Executive MBA degree with honor from IDC HERZLIA, and graduated cum laude from Tel Aviv & Bar Ilan Universities with a MSc in Mathematics and BSc in Computers.
Emeka Okoli - Vice President of Customer Care

Emeka Okoli is a passionate advocate of Zixi’s customers and products. As Vice President of Customer Care, Emeka leads customer support, pre-sale technical consulting and solutions delivery.
Prior to ZiXi, Emeka was the CTO and Vice President of Product & Information Systems at WARM2Kids Inc., a charitable foundation. Emeka developed a unique method of broadening technology outreach in inner cities and suburbs across the United States. His model was recognized and awarded $800,000 in grants from Microsoft. Emeka also previously worked with Israel Drori as IS Manager at Polycom and as Pre- and Post-Sales Manager at MeetU. In the mid 90’s Emeka also co-founded OHC, Inc., a technical-support service provider.
Emeka has a B.Sc. in Computer Science and Technology and a Masters in Management, Information Technology from Northeastern University. Emeka is currently working on an Interdisciplinary PhD at Northeastern.
Cheryl Franke - Chief Financial Officer

Cheryl Kimmens Franke is an experienced technology CFO who has worked with a number of highly successful technology startups and technology companies. As CFO, Cheryl is responsible for Accounting, Treasury and Financial operations at ZiXi.
Prior to joining ZiXi, Cheryl served as Senior Director of Operations for Barco Medical Inc. CFO of Spider Systems, Inc. and CFO Voxar Inc. along with other technology and medical companies.
Cheryl received her BS in Accounting from Bentley University and completed work towards a Masters degree in Organizational and Intercultural Communications at Clark University.
